Ronneby Airport
Swedavia works continuously to develop and improve its ten airports in order to meet increasing pressure for efficient travel domestically and internationally.
Ronneby Airport is located near a number of towns in southern Sweden. Karlskrona, Karlshamn, Sölvesborg, Kalmar, Kristianstad and Växjö are all situated about an hour’s car ride from the airport. Along with civilian aviation operations, the airport also has a military section. The Blekinge F-17 wing has an international flying unit and two JAS divisions at the airport. The Swedish Air Force Ranger School, Sweden’s only Ranger unit, also operates the airport.
